Terms and conditions
We thank You for Your interest in our company and are pleased to offer You airfreight service for general cargo with normal weight and size as per enclosed rate sheet. Our offer is based on standard service of the mentioned airlines without time guarantee. Our freight offer is not valid for any special cargo such as dangerous goods, oversize pieces, high value cargo etc. unless other mentioned.
Our offer is based on the tariffs, exchange rates etc. valid and known at the time of issue. In case of change in any of costs item, we reserve the right to adjust our rates accordingly.
Freight and other costs are excluding VAT, taxes or other official fees. In case laws require we will charge VAT separately. We reserve the right to adjust our VAT invoice if VAT is wrongly debited.
Our invoicing currency is EUR and we invoice according to quote date exchange rate (KN clearing).
If applicable, customer must provide Kuehne + Nagel, for all transactions and in a timely manner with all customs, export control, sanctions, information and related documentation including but not limited to the customs classification number, customs valuation, origin, export control classification number including any U.S. export control classification number, any export licenses and details of any sanctions or restrictions that might be applicable to the parties involved or the transaction itself.
Kuehne + Nagel business information, including prices, services and information entrusted between Kuehne + Nagel and customer or partner, should be handled with high requirements in terms of confidentiality and is therefore defined as Confidential.
This quote is subject to credit review and approval. Without a credit approval payment term is "cash on delivery". Duties and Taxes can be exempt from standard payment terms and are payable immediately if not otherwise agreed.
The Merchant shall reimburse Kuehne + Nagel for any costs for deviation or delay or any other increase of costs of whatever nature caused by force majeure. Force majeure is an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or an event described by the legal term act of God (hurricane, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, diseases, pandemics, epidemics etc.), prevents one or both parties from fulfilling their obligations under the contract.
All transactions are carried out under General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2015) excluding the liability to sign insurance as per §25 A (http://fi.kuehne-nagel.com/fi_fi/) and according to all valid laws and regulations.
