Back India-Pakistan Conflict Disrupts Transportation

Following an attack in the Kashmir region in April 2025, India and Pakistan have implemented a comprehensive ban affecting each other’s imports and maritime access.

India has announced a ban on the import of goods originating from or transiting through Pakistan. Pakistani-flagged ships are no longer permitted to enter Indian ports. The ban also applies to Pakistani products arriving in India via third countries. In addition, the Indian government has suspended mail exchanges, closed its airspace to Pakistan-registered aircraft, and closed the Atari-Wagah land border.

In response, Pakistan has introduced similar restrictions on Indian vessels, prohibiting them from entering Pakistani ports.

These escalating tensions are causing significant disruptions and restrictions in transportation. Delays and increased costs are to be expected. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to keep our customers informed.
