The strike may cause disruption and delays to shipments.
The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS), one of the largest trade unions in the UK, will go on strike on Friday 28th of April 2023. Some of the HM Revenue and Customs officials (HMRC) and UK-based Home Office members, including Border Force staff, are also taking part in the strike.
The industrial action may cause disruption and delays to the movement of goods through UK ports, airports and Inland Border Facilities. Operations will return to normal on Saturday 29th of April but possible delays and disruptions may still occur.
