The negotiations between the Teamsters Unionin and the two main rail companies, Canadian National Railway (CN) and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), have not progressed. As a result, Canada’s rail union have issued a 72-hour strike notice. If no agreement is reached, the strike will start on Thursday 22nd of August at 00.01 Eastern Time.
